NVIDIA is seeking a highly technical and strategic Senior Developer Relations Manager to cultivate and grow the developer and partner ecosystem focused on Edge AI and Functional Safety for our industry-leading embedded platforms: NVIDIA Jetson and NVIDIA IGX.
The ideal candidate will be a technical leader and advocate, bridging the gap between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), external developers, ISVs, and NVIDIA’s product/engineering teams. This person will drive the adoption of our technologies in critical, high-volume applications across industrial, healthcare, and robotics markets, ensuring successful integration of AI with strict functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508).
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic Ecosystem Engagement: Identify, engage, and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and system integrators to accelerate the design-in and deployment of NVIDIA Jetson and IGX for Edge AI solutions requiring functional safety.
Architectural Guidance: Serve as the trusted technical consultant for OEM and partner engineering teams, guiding them on the optimal design of complex embedded systems involving high-bandwidth sensors and high-speed networking (e.g., PCIe, 10G+ Ethernet) to ensure efficient data ingestion and low-latency AI inference on NVIDIA platforms.
Functional Safety Leadership: Proactively advise developers and OEM teams on achieving necessary Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and integrating safety-critical features on NVIDIA hardware and software, focusing on safety requirements within robotics, industrial control and medical systems.
Enablement & Content Creation: Develop and deliver high-impact technical enablement materials, including reference designs, architectural blueprints, white papers, and workshops to scale the development of safety-certified Edge AI solutions across the OEM and partner ecosystem.
Roadmap Influence & Feedback Loop: Capture, analyze, and communicate the technical requirements and challenges of key OEMs and partners back to NVIDIA’s internal product and engineering teams to directly influence and prioritize the Jetson and IGX product, software, and functional safety roadmaps.
Go-to-Market & Scale: Collaborate multi-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to define joint go-to-market strategies, secure design wins within key OEM product lines, and drive measurable platform adoption at scale.
What We Need To See:
10+ years of overall professional experience in a technical role, with 5+ years in Developer Relations, Technical Product Management, or Solutions Architecture.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Deep technical expertise in complex embedded systems design, including processor architecture, memory hierarchy, and high-performance I/O for sensor data pipelines.
Strong practical knowledge of managing data from high-bandwidth sensors (e.g., GMSL, MIPI, high-resolution cameras, LiDAR) and integrating high-speed networking fabrics (e.g., TSN, RDMA, high-speed Ethernet) into embedded AI platforms.
Proven expertise in Functional Safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508 / ISO 26262) and the full safety lifecycle, including system architecture for software and hardware certification.
Demonstrated experience working directly with OEMs or large solution providers on high-volume, embedded technology adoption programs.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python, with experience using embedded toolchains and RTOS environments.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
Direct hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson and/or NVIDIA IGX platforms.
Experience designing or deploying industrial control systems (ICS) or medical devices that require formal SIL certification.
Deep technical expertise in Edge AI/ML model architectures and deployment on embedded/resource-constrained systems.
Familiarity with NVIDIA SDKs relevant to these sectors (e.g., Metropolis, Holoscan, Isaac).
A track record of influencing complex product decisions within a large OEM or hardware manufacturer in the industrial automation, medical imaging, or robotics sectors.

What We Do
NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, NVIDIA is increasingly known as “the AI computing company.”
