We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS data pipeline technologies including: AWS Spark, Glue and Python. As a team leader, you will work closely with other data developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products to meet the needs and expectations of our business. Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and architectural expertise is welcomed. This role is accountable for the development of FCC’s technical solutions including the design, development, testing and deployment of code, and interpretation of business requirements.
The Senior Developer is responsible for delivering a high level of informal leadership while developing the most complex and strategic components of a solution.

What you’ll do:  

• Participate in a solution’s architectural direction and be responsible for solution design and implementation 

• Analyze and develop new code including automation, integration and unit tests 

• Implement code fixes and support user testing  

• Participate in and/or lead application design sessions

• Participate and/or leads the design and development of models and analytics 

• Actively contribute to code reviews providing constructive feedback to team members 

• Participate in, or lead group design or coding sessions

• Ensure technical solutions and system integrations are developed and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner

What you’ll need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or mathematics/statistics and at least 10 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
