ADT is seeking a Sr. Designer UX/UI to create intuitive, customer-centered digital experiences across ADT.com, acquisition funnels, shopping experiences, onboarding, and customer lifecycle journeys. The ideal candidate combines strong UX thinking, visual design excellence, and a passion for solving complex customer problems. This role partners closely with Marketing, Brand, Content, SEO, Analytics, and Engineering teams to transform business objectives and customer needs into effective digital solutions. The Senior UX/UI Designer will contribute to the evolution of ADT's digital experience ecosystem through user-centered design, prototyping, experimentation, design systems, and continuous optimization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end customer experiences across ADT.com, acquisition funnels, shopping experiences, and customer lifecycle journeys.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, rapid concepts, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance customer needs with business objectives.
  • Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives by designing test concepts, variants, and experiences that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Leverage customer insights, analytics, research findings, and experimentation results to continuously improve user experiences and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to balance customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, and brand standards.
  • Present design concepts, recommendations, and rationale to stakeholders while incorporating feedback throughout the design process.
  • Contribute to and maintain design systems, component libraries, templates, and design documentation.
  • Conduct design reviews and quality assurance to ensure consistency and adherence to UX, visual design, accessibility, and brand standards.
  • Stay informed on emerging UX, accessibility, and digital design best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and gather feedback throughout the design process.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered design and prototyping tools such as Figma Make, Figma AI, copilot, or similar technologies to accelerate ideation, prototyping and design workflow
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Content, SEO, Analytics, and Engineering teams to design and optimize customer-facing digital experiences

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, design systems, and component libraries. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
  • Strong typographic, layout, and visual hierarchy fundamentals.
  • Strong expertise in UX strategy, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and accessibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG). 
  • Experience creating rapid concepts and prototypes to communicate ideas and test solutions.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or equivalent practical experience.
  •  5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio demonstrating customer-facing web, eCommerce, or digital experiences. 
  • Experience leveraging user research, analytics, customer insights, and experimentation to inform design decisions. 
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking, visual design execution, and measurable business impact.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with conversion optimization, A/B testing, personalization, and experimentation platforms.
  • Experience in eCommerce, D2C, retail, smart home, or consumer technology industries.
  • Experience designing within enterprise-level design systems.
  • Working knowledge of front-end development principles and implementation considerations.

 

Communication Skills:

  • Writing, Talking/Hearing on the phone (Continually=67-100% of workday)

 

Environment Requirements:

  • In office 4 days a week

 

Travel:

  • Occasionally, less than 25%
