Position Title: Senior Design & Review Expert
Job Type: Full Time
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
(i) Masters Degree in Structural Engineering with minimum experience
of 7 years in field of Design pertaining to Construction Industry.
OR
(ii)Graduate Degree in Civil engineering with minimum experience of 10
years in field of Design pertaining to Construction industry.
OR
(iii) Diploma in Civil engineering with minimum Experience of 15 years
in field of Design pertaining to Construction industry
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the design process for construction projects, ensuring that all designs meet structural and regulatory requirements.

Conduct comprehensive reviews of engineering designs and provide expert feedback to improve design quality and functionality.

Collaborate with other engineering teams, architects, and construction managers to align design plans with project specifications and goals.

Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

Evaluate the feasibility of design concepts and recommend modifications or alternatives to meet project requirements.

Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to designs as needed to address any issues or changes in scope.

Prepare detailed design reports, calculations, and specifications for various construction projects.

Act as a mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.

Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in design and construction engineering.

Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors involved in design and review processes.

Participate in design review meetings and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical information
Key Skills:

In-depth knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and methods.

Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of local and international building codes and regulations.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical design solutions.

Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.
