Location/Division Specific InformationThis position is based in Shanghai, China office. You will be part of APAC region, collaborating with global teams to ensure seamless operations and world-class service.
Discover Impactful Work:You will play a crucial role in developing APAC demand plans for lab plastic products that will enable regional teams to meet sales objectives.You will work with Business Unit Product Management, Commercial and Finance Teams, including global demand teams to ensure directional alignment to achieve these objectives
A day in the Life:- Collaborate with BU, regional commercial team to understand demand drivers and work out APAC regional unconstrained demand forecast aligned with regional financial plans.
- Facilitate SIOP demand review meetings, ensuring signoff on a 24-months demand plan.
- Handle regional demand management critical metrics: forecast accuracy, bias and drive performance improvements activities.
- Provide regional demand forecast to global supply sites and act as a liaison to site supply chain teams. Communicate supply constraints to regional teams and handle supply allocations.
- Provide regular reporting communications relevant to supply chain performance, initiatives, and achievements to regional and global key collaborators.
- Involve in NPI and promotion planning processes to ensure high SKU level forecast accuracy.
- Supervise APAC hubs' finished goods inventory health, including safety stock review, MOQ setup, and reduction of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum of 5 years in demand planning experience in MNC
- Experience in Life Science or Medical Device industry is preferred
- Familiarity with planning software like Demantra and Kinaxis Rapid Response is advantageous
- Good command of English in both oral and written
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office software and ERP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Possessing an APICS CPIM or CSCP certification would be advantageous
- Possession of Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is advantageous
