Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Demand Planner in the Product Operations department, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain by forecasting customer demand and aligning it with production and inventory strategies.
Key Responsbilitities:
- Forecast demand of cellular handsets, SIM cards, and related accessories (e.g. Watches, Tablets, etc)
- Guide the creation and maintenance of demand forecasts at multiple levels (e.g., regional, product category, SKU)
- Use statistical models, historical data, and market insights to predict future demand trends and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Develop and manage demand planning processes, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts across multiple product lines
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to incorporate market trends, promotional activities, and new product launches into demand forecasts
- Partner with Supply Chain to align demand plans with production schedules and capacity constraints
- Liaise with Finance to ensure forecasts align with revenue targets and financial goals
- Investigate and incorporate the impact of pricing strategies, promotional activities, and competitor pricing into demand forecasts
- Track competitive market activity, including promotions and pricing changes, and adjust demand plans accordingly to optimize sales and inventory management
- Continuously track demand plan performance and use forecast accuracy metrics (such as MAPE, bias, and forecast error) to assess forecast performance
- Evaluate forecast accuracy trends and implement corrective actions to drive ongoing improvements in forecasting methods, processes, and tools
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required, with 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, pricing elasticity & cross-price elasticity (cannibalization), demand forecasting techniques, and demand planning systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and production planning
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to company core values and in-office presence in Denver

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
