Key Responsibilities
- Own recovery performance: Recover overdue balances through outbound and inbound channels — phone, email, SMS, and chat — focusing on speed, accuracy, and results.
- Negotiate with precision: Create and close repayment arrangements that align with business targets while preserving trust and compliance.
- Engage with empathy: Communicate with professionalism and respect, understanding each customer’s unique financial situation.
- Stay compliant: Operate fully within UAE Central Bank regulations and local debt collection laws, maintaining ethical and transparent practices at all times.
- Track results: Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs — recovery rate, response time, compliance score, and customer satisfaction.
- Document accurately: Keep all account notes, payment commitments, and follow-ups detailed and audit-ready.
- Collaborate and innovate: Work closely with Operations, Compliance, and Product teams to improve process efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Adapt fast: Stay current with evolving regulatory expectations and industry standards across the UAE and wider MENA region.
Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of proven collections or debt resolution experience, ideally within UAE financial services, fintech, or recovery agencies.
- Strong knowledge of UAE debt collection and consumer protection laws.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills — able to navigate sensitive situations with confidence and empathy.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) Mandatory.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, collection tools, and performance dashboards.
- Driven, resilient, and results-oriented — thrives on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to handle high contact volumes efficiently.
