Your Main Objective:
- Design, develop, test, and deliver database systems
- Manage life cycle support of database systems: apply patches and upgrades; diagnose and resolve problems; monitor and improve performance; migrate data from legacy systems to modern systems.
- Design and manage backup and recovery processes and continuity of operations plans.
- Select appropriate database technologies for specific requirements, such as online transaction processing systems (OLTP), decision support systems (DSS), data warehouses, object-oriented or other non-relational data stores, real-time systems, and mass storage systems.
- Acquire data, coordinate data flow, and promote data quality
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in plus 2-years of relevant experience. An Associate’s degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 8-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Experience with VM environments of various operating systems with tool augmentation
You Might Also Have:
- DevOps experience
- Experience with NiagaraFiles (NiFi)
- Experience with IAVAs, patching, Tenable, Nessus
- Knowledge of security hardening procedures for Linux
