We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer (DBA) with a strong focus on ClickHouse and NoSQL database management, including MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra. You will be responsible for administering various databases, optimizing infrastructure solutions, and ensuring the stability and reliability of our database environments. Your work will contribute to high-performance, scalable, and resilient data storage solutions, supporting the rapid development and deployment of Exness products and services.
You will:- Managing and maintaining ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra across different environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
- Troubleshooting database-related issues in real time and providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Ensuring database security, managing user accounts, roles, and privileges.
- Assisting developers with schema design, query tuning, and performance optimization.
- Automating routine database operations using automation tools (Ansible)
- Implementing backup, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Monitoring database health and performance to guarantee high availability and reliability.
- Deploying and maintaining database updates, patches, and version upgrades.
- Creating and managing database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- 3+ years of experience in database development and administration.
- Expertise in ClickHouse, Ansible and Python for automation and database management are a must-have.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning, capacity planning, and architecture design.
- Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Linux administration experience (3+ years).
- Good understanding of database design principles, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
