Senior Database Administrator
Job Description
CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Senior Database Administrator to support large-scale SQL data operations across large SQL Server installations. Install, configure, monitor, and maintain servers across Production, Testing, and Development environments. Recommend and implement solutions for SQL performance monitoring, tuning, and automation. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with database upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server; 5 years of experience with enterprise-level applications requiring 24/7 uptime; 5 years of experience with adhering and implementing best practices within an enterprise environment; 5 years of experience with source control for database artifacts, including jobs, SSIS packages, and replication configuration; 5 years of experience with source control management following a change request/notification policy; 5 years of experience with upgrading prior versions of SQL Server to latest RTM version or CTP version; 5 years of experience with creating complex, inter-discipline project plans for development, implementation, and deployment; and 5 years of experience with SAN based architecture including 3PAR, EMC, and Pure.
