Job Description:
- Leads initiatives leveraging data-mining, statistical and advanced modeling techniques
- Applies domain knowledge to ideate and create new data science studies Implements and validates predictive and prescriptive models; creates and maintains statistical models.
- Performs analysis to understand the spatial distribution of energy, agricultural, and weather patterns and their impacts.
- Maintains and enhances DTN’s extensive set of industrial capabilities, including data acquisition, transformation, storage, and utilization for decision support insights.
- Stays updated with the latest advancements in data analysis, machine learning, decision support, and data science techniques.
- Effectively partners with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, determines appropriate modelling techniques to implement .
- Conducts and leads feasibility studies of data science hypothesis
- Creates dashboards, reports, and visualizations of model outputs and effectively communicates results to leaders and customers
- Represents DTN data science in discovery sessions and customer meetings

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $101,250 and $135,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
