Role Overview
As part of Deal Management team, Europe you will play a critical role in managing small strategic customer agreements and deals. Your work will support corporate strategy execution and drive profitable growth with issuers, acquirers, and merchants. You will act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and customers, ensuring high-priority deals are developed, executed, and optimized for success.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the establishment and management of small customer business agreements
Ensure through organizational planning the consistent execution of agreements by identifying and working with all required stakeholders
Establish mutually quantifiable goals that drive profitability for MasterCard and customers
Fully understand internal guidelines, pricing, regulatory environment, business environment and apply already established measures to drive profitability for MasterCard and customers
Assist in the business case model maintenance through recurrent testing on model pricing /functional changes and updates as required
Support the European Sales Team building profitable and protected deals structure for MasterCard and playing an active advisory role in business, strategic and financial related projects.
Prioritize business opportunities in a fully independent way
Ensure the integrity, compliance and tracking of business cases and financial models
Understand business needs, strategies and regulatory requirements and consider them when building business cases models
Co-operate with the legal department to incorporate the business case performance commitments within contracts.
Co-operate with other departments (accounting, local finance) to optimize deals structure
Perform detailed contract reviews to ensure full alignment with approved BC models;
Willingness to take up ad-hoc projects as and when there is a team requirement
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Finance / CA.
Strong experience in financial analysis, business development, and customer-facing roles.
Deep understanding of card and financial services industry dynamics.
