You'll be working to build cutting-edge models to support the business. This pivotal role involves understanding business problems, identifying the best techniques and models to be used to resolve them, and developing AI and Machine learning solutions that can be taken to production. You'll be serving as the Subject matter expert for the area, leading AI-related projects and ensuring value for the stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, define, and understand business problems.
• Collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data to ensure its quality and reliability to build solutions. * Prototype data science models.
• Use exploratory analysis methodologies to identify patterns and trends to use with the right statistical methods (clustering, PCA, regression, significance testing).
• Work with descriptive and predictive analytics (e.g. linear regression & propensity models, customer segmentation, data mining, and trigger identification).
• Work with the Machine Learning Engineer, within the data function, to implement and productionise the models whilst monitoring the performance.
• Evaluating the performance of models and refining them as needed.
• Presenting the results and suggestions to relevant parties by using easily understandable visuals and concise reports.

• Previous 12+ years experience as a Data Scientist or in similar roles, developing complex AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of Python and Machine/Deep Learning Frameworks like PyTorch, Keras, SciKit Learn, or TensorFlow.
• Deep knowledge of cutting-edge Machine Learning and Deep Learning technologies and techniques.
• Good Knowledge of AWS AI and Machine Learning Offering (like SageMaker and BedRock).
• Good Knowledge of Generative AI concepts and applications.
• Experience in developing Data Science Projects in complex environments.
• Experience in Data Wrangling and Exploratory Data Analysis.
• Experience developing Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models that can be productized.
• Experience in conducting experiments and identifying the best techniques to apply to different use cases and solutions.
• Great Communicating with commercial stakeholders, explaining data concepts in a non-technical language. 
• Certifications on AWS AI, Microsoft OpenAI, or Snowflake would be considered a plus.
