TransUnion’s Global Solutions organization builds product capabilities for TransUnion and deliver world-class products to our customers. This role will act as a lead analyst of the TransUnion Consumer Interactive product team and is responsible to support and execute on key opportunities for our online consumer-facing products to better serve a US customer base. The senior product analyst will be working with our Direct-to-Consumer products including credit monitoring, identity protection and regulatory products.  It is responsible for leading monitoring of our products and their performance, analysis to determine go forward enhancements and supporting model development where models are a core part of our product offering or an important predictive piece of how we deliver our product. This role will partner and collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, UX, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other key matrix functions at TransUnion to drive the consumer product strategy forward. The analyst will have the opportunity to support our transformation, modernization and innovation initiatives.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Key responsibilities include

  • Establish and enhance ongoing monitoring programs around key performance indicators for consumer products
  • Conduct in-depth product analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain advanced data models to support product development and optimization.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes.
  • Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders representing a wide range of backgrounds and levels in a clear and concise manner.
  • Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing, to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative analytical products, with a focus on developing algorithms related to breach risks.
  • Contribute to omnichannel fraud reporting by analyzing breach databases to identify trends, extract insights, and generate summaries of findings.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Analytics with at least one (1) year of relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with at least three (3) years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency with programming and data manipulation languages such as SQL, Hive, Spark; experience with statistical programs such as R or Python; high level of familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
