Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with a focus on the execution and troubleshooting of existing data products. This role will involve managing Data ETL processes, building and maintaining data assets, and providing support for data append systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute and Manage Data ETL Processes: Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data suppliers to ensure timely delivery, data integrity and availability.

Data Asset Builds: Execute monthly processes to create, QA and release our data products

Support Data Append Systems: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data append systems, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure data quality.

Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, business partners, delivery teams, and other stakeholders to support the release of our data assets or report product improvement and bugs.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, workflows, and system configurations.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance data operations efficiency.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or data operations, with a proven track record of managing complex data systems.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, and Atlassian

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues effectively.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
