Senior Data Insights Analyst
Summary:
As a Senior Data Insights Analyst within the Commercial & Marketing Analytics team, you will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights that guide strategic and operational decisions. By designing and maintaining impactful applications, reports, and dashboards in Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, and other analytics tools, you’ll directly support our commercial and marketing teams in data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and optimize scalable applications, reports, and dashboards using Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, and similar tools.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Connect to diverse data sources, build data models, and calculate key metrics and KPIs.
- Develop interactive, visually engaging data visualizations that communicate insights clearly and effectively.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deploy reports to production, and ensure ongoing maintenance to meet evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring accuracy and performance in all reporting outputs.
- Gather and analyze data to answer specific business questions, using statistical methods and data analysis tools as needed.
- Present data insights and analysis outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management, to drive impactful decision-making.
- Provide guidance to users on interpreting data and leveraging metrics and KPIs to create actionable insights.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions, creating user guides, quick cards, and self-learning content to empower users.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in data analysis and insights generation, with strong proficiency in Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, and data visualization.
- A solid understanding of data modelling, analytics, and statistical methods to interpret complex datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and support users in data interpretation.
- A collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
- Experience in facilitating user training and creating instructional content, with a commitment to enabling self-service analytics.
