Senior Data Hub Data Engineer

Location: Remote (Eastern time zone) 

As a Senior Data Engineer, You Will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data ingestion frameworks for the enterprise Data Hub.
• Build and optimize Spark and Databricks workloads for batch and streaming data processing.
• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP IaaS services.
• Develop robust data models, data quality checks, and metadata management processes.
• Create, schedule, and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Implement automation and CI/CD processes using Git and associated tooling.
• Integrate monitoring and observability using Splunk and Kubernetes-native tools.
  
• Work with BI teams to ensure efficient data delivery for visualization tools, including Power BI.
• Collaborate with data scientists to enable AI/ML model deployment, feature engineering pipelines, and production-grade model operations
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security standards, and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, refinement, and delivery.

To Be Successful, You Need: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields
• Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder 
  
• Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS): Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Databricks: Strong experience building pipelines, jobs, and workflows; performance optimization; Delta Lake.
• Spark: Advanced knowledge of distributed computing, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Airflow: Experience creating and managing DAGs for scheduling and orchestration.
• Kubernetes: Experience deploying and managing containerized data workloads.
• Splunk: Hands-on experience with monitoring, log analysis, and alerting.
• Power BI: Understanding of dataset consumption and supporting infrastructure.
• Git: Proficiency in version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD workflows.
• AI/ML: Exposure to enabling ML pipelines, data preparation, and model operationalization.
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate (required).
  Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional preferred.
• Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, PMI, or Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent).
