DUTIES:         

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf applications or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software Developers and Engineers.
• Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.
• Develop, enforce, and recommend enhancements to IT in the area of standards, methodologies, compliance, and quality assurance practices.
• Meet with business partners to understand business needs.
• Acquire an understanding of business processes and procedures and help the business use information systems to gain a competitive advantage.
• Develop collaborative relationships with key business sponsors and IT resources for the efficient resolution of work requests.
• Be responsible for overall design of the solution.
• Define high-level architectural direction on new capabilities requested by the business.
• Design, build, and test applications.
• Support risk adjustment prospective and retrospective approaches and lead the solutioning, designing, coding, testing, and debugging of Risk Adjustment RAPS and Supplemental Data submission application and system integration.
• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
• Use database platform such as Teradata and SQL Server to support Risk Adjustment database.
• Structure, perform schema copies, analyze user and system data stored in the database, and derive system health checks.
• Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites through the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.
• Travel required: Less than 5% domestic travel for technical training purpose.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 4 years of relevant work experience.
• In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Developing ETL jobs to extract data from heterogeneous sources, applying transformation logics to extracted data, and loading into Data Warehouse Databases or cloud-based application; (2) Using PL/SQL programming to develop stored procedures and functions to support the extract reports by retrieving the data from the data warehousing application or cloud-based application; (3) Developing UNIX shell scripts to automate the processes and perform day-to-day activities; (4) Designing and developing ETL/DB components in an agile environment utilizing a test-driven development approach; and (5) Experience with Teradata, Snowflake, Linux, and Shell Scripting to perform data modeling and data transformation among different platform and system.

WORK HOURS:         Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]

PAY RANGE:             $122,990.41 to $158,100.00 per year
