DUTIES:

• Act as principle contributor in obtaining business and technical requirements, GAP analysis, technical design, development, and documentation of information systems using data transformation techniques to move the data between systems.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications, design models, and system workflows from which software applications will be developed and implemented.
• Provide leadership and facilitation in the definition and development of the technical solution concept, including vision, scope, and system architecture.
• As part of Production Support, Support, troubleshoot, and maintain production systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow-up on identified issues.
• Per Business request, Support Business on data comparison.
• Translate technical business goals and requirements into designs, utilizing best practice design patterns.
• Define and maintain Information Systems (IS) development standards and best practices.
• Afterhours work and on-call availability may be required to support deployments or upgrades to production systems to avoid system downtime during business hours.
• Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related, or its foreign equivalent, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 4 years of relevant work experience.
• In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1)Understanding of Medicare business rules and the Health Care experience; (2) Designing and implementing ETL processes using Informatica to load data from multiple sources, including flat files and databases to different target RDBMS and MPP databases, and performing data transformation and data quality check using various transformations including Joiner, Expression, Lookup, Aggregate, Filter, Update Strategy, Sequence Generator, and Stored Procedure; (3) Deriving data from multiple sources (including flat files, Oracle, Greenplum, Teradata, and Hadoop) using complex SQL queries; (4) Developing UNIX shell, Hive, and Python scripts to automate the processes and perform day-to-day activities; and (5) Experience with AWS, Snowflake, and Power Center Cloud Data Integration.

WORK HOURS:         Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]

PAY RANGE:             $128,642.32 to $158,100.00 per year
