We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineering Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in SQL, ETL processes, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Data Vault, Business Vault, Azure Data Factory (ADF), data transformation, data modeling, data analysis, and developing data marts.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Utilize Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and transformation.
- Implement and manage Data Vault and Business Vault architectures.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Perform data modeling and create data marts to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.
Must haves:
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Data Vault and Business Vault methodologies.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and data transformation techniques.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data analysis.
- Proven experience in developing data marts and reports
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
- Familiarity with GenAI on Databricks and machine learning concepts.
- Knowledge of finance and insurance domains.
- Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to IFRS 17 reporting is a plus but not mandatory.
