Ericsson Business Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the division behind Cradlepoint, the global leader in cloud-delivered LTE and 5G wireless network edge solutions for enterprises. BEWS serves customers across industries including retail, transportation, government, and healthcare, delivering the connectivity infrastructure that keeps businesses running.
Within BEWS, the Finance AI & Analytics team is a newly formed, high-impact group driving AI transformation across the finance organization. We build the data infrastructure, AI agents, and analytics capabilities that power financial decision-making at Ericsson -- including Crystal, our internal Finance AI Agent built on Snowflake Intelligence.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our 4-person Finance AI & Analytics team as a foundational technical hire. You will own the end-to-end data pipelines and transformation layer that power our AI agents and enable reliable, insight-ready data for finance leadership. This is a high-ownership role with direct visibility to the CFO and senior finance stakeholders.
You will work closely with an Analytics Engineer and Data Analyst, reporting to the Head of Finance AI & Analytics.
What you will do:
  • Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines that move data from finance source systems into Snowflake
  • Develop and own dbt models that transform raw data into clean, reliable, business-ready datasets
  • Integrate new finance data sources
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across the finance data layer
  • Support and expand Crystal, our Finance AI Agent, by building the data foundation it depends on
  • Collaborate with the Analytics Engineer to align on data modeling standards and best practices
  • Identify data pipeline gaps and proactively resolve them without being directed to
  • Contribute to the team's data infrastructure roadmap and technical decision-making

The skills you bring:
Required skills:
  • Advanced SQL and Python -- you are comfortable writing complex queries and scripts from scratch
  • Hands-on experience building and owning ELT/ETL pipelines end-to-end
  • dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling
  • Fivetran or equivalent ELT platform
  • Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal technical oversight
  • Self-starter mentality -- you identify problems and solve them without waiting to be asked

Preferred skills:
  • Finance domain knowledge -- FP&A, billing, revenue, or OPEX data
  • Experience supporting AI or ML data pipelines
  • VBA coding experience
  • Claude code or equivalent AI coding tools
  • Building ML models
  • Background on a small data team where you wore multiple hats
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data structures and data quality challenges

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan (select if STV): Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
