We are building the enterprise-scale data platform used by data scientists/analysts to accelerate the impact of data-driven insights. We provide essential tools and frameworks to support the entire analytics lifecycle, from efficient data ingestion & transformation workflows to scalable machine learning model deployments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- The primary responsibility is to design, develop, and document data pipelines leveraging replication and transformation tooling to populate and sustain the data lakehouse.
- Migrating SSIS on premises transformations to cloud based targets
- Influence all aspects of the platform including tooling, architecture, processes.
- Ensure successful ongoing operations by developing and implementing processes and procedures yielding high availability and data quality
- Partner with cloud infrastructure team to develop optimized change management process and build infrastructure as code deployments.
- Manage terabytes of data generated by distributed systems, 3rd parties and real-time user metrics to build pipelines that improve our analytics capability and help make key business decisions
- Establish and maintain coding standards for the team
- Support visualization software (Tableau/Power BI) by building data extracts
- Architect essential functionality for our growing analytics organization
- Collaborate with business groups such as Marketing, Operations and Data Science to develop data-intensive solutions.
- Leverage DevOps and Sprint development cycles to plan and execute development
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional work experience in data processing
- Solid grasp of ETL design and large-scale data processing
- 2+ years of experience working in AWS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in quantitative/technical field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of ETL tooling, Python, C#, & SQL/NoSQL
- Strong working knowledge in SQL and databases such as MSSQL/Oracle/Snowflake/Redshift
- Understanding of Windows/Linux-based systems
- Strong technical skills in AWS, GCP, Azure
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Bonus Points (not required)
- Experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java, C++)
- Experience with deployment using Docker, REST API, CI/CD
- Experience with data warehousing systems (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
- Experience with Pub/Sub or distributed messaging systems (SQS, Kinesis, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
