• Design, Develop, Deploy, and Monitor complex ETL/ELT data pipelines which may contain various required transformations of data using various languages and techniques.
• Optimize and tune data processing and storage systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
• Write SQL scripts and objects such as stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, indexes per business requirements.
• Work with stakeholders on data-related technical issues.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
• Clearly articulate pros and cons of proposed technologies/solutions.
• Certifications are beneficial.
• Preferred Locations: Indianapolis, IN

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using AWS cloud services, with a strong focus on S3 for data storage and integration.
• Ingest and process data from external APIs, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Ability to write robust code in Python and SQL programming languages.
• Proficient in writing advanced / complex SQL statements; expertise in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries required.
• Ability to create functioning ETL prototypes to address quickly changing business needs.
• Experience with version control system such as Git.
• Familiarity with Java and/or Perf, is a plus, but not required.
• Clearly articulate pros and cons of proposed technologies/solutions.

Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. This position will require a hybrid/onsite work schedule out of our downtown or Castleton office.
