The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Data Engineering Tech Lead helps bring world class Engineering leadership and execution to a dedicated team of Data Engineers delivering a portfolio of data solutions. This leader provides technical and process direction to deliver data products that effectively support Solventum’s Business Strategy. This position requires hands-on data engineering experience, data design, data modeling and data governance experience. This role requires leadership and communication skills as well as a level of comfort working with both technical and non-technical teams.

As a(n) Data Engineering Tech Leader you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact:

• Accountability to lead and maintain diverse data products inside our Ecosystem.

• Analyze data, engineer data solution to deploy and maintain a wide range data product solutions from descriptive to cognitive.

• Analyze data integration requirements and develop engineering solutions

• Work with Data Analytics partners to ensure data designs and engineering support the

integration of data/information flow across systems and platforms.

• Harvest business rules and metadata from application silos; create enterprise data solutions from business specific context to stitch it all together and enable results through analytics.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 8 years of data engineering experience

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND 12 years of Information systems / Analytics application Consulting experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• 10 years of building end-to-end data engineering solutions (data ingestion, processing and enablement). Thorough experience directly working with structured, unstructured and semi-structured data to produce data solutions with expertise engineering techniques.
• 1 to 3 years of Team leadership, indirectly managing a team of engineers.
• 8 years of working with data engineering solutions using different platforms and technologies.
• 8 years working with business and technical leaders to design, build and implement engineering solutions – (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, SQL, Python etc

• Experience working with big data platforms
• Data Engineer with Cloud based solutions like Snowflake and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Experience building custom data engineering modules.
• Health Care Domain experience.
• Experience with ETL/ELT technologies.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
