Within our OSST Demand Planning we build solutions for Forecasting at scale.
We’re looking for an ambitious Senior Data Engineer who will lead the Data Engineering horizontal team, serving multiple platforms:
Forecasting platform, building Machine Learning solutions
Web Apps platform, building multiple webapp applications.
You’ll be joining a global organization with strong data maturity, where you’ll shape scalable solutions across forecasting, optimization, and applied analytics domains.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of internal and external Data Engineers, cover both technical leadership and people management
Design, develop, and implement data solutions that acquire, transform, and optimize data from diverse sources.
Build scalable pipelines to enable efficient data processing and analysis.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
Troubleshoot data related issues.
Analyze and organize raw data.
Contribute to the development of data models.
Maintain data engineering documentations.
Leverage coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and reusable services and components.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, AI engineers, DevOps engineers in day to day tasks.
Interact with other P&G IT organizations, including Architects, other Platform Teams, and Data Publishers Teams.
Job Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has:
Strong Engineering background in areas of: Python, Spark, Databricks, Azure, SQ, Docker, Hive, CICD; pyrogAI is a plus!
Proven experience of at least 4 years of experience in an Engineering position in the past (Data Engineer / Software Engineer / DevOps)
Proficiency with Data Engineering concepts: Data Model, Data Pipelines
Excellent collaboration skills and working comfortably within a cross-functional team
Shown success in leadership, problem-solving solving and priority setting, people management
English proficiency and at least a Bachelor's degree
