OverviewThe Master Data Management (MDM) team requires a full-time Senior Data Engineer to support enterprise data platform initiatives. This role will focus on managing and implementing changes across enterprise data environments including Azure Synapse and Databricks, supporting ETL processes, data pipelines, and API connectivity that enable reliable integration and delivery of master data across the organization.
The position will play a key role in ensuring data consistency, quality, and accessibility by developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integration services that support enterprise analytics, operational reporting, and data governance initiatives.
The work includes:
• Understanding the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics
• Supporting the design, development, and maintenance of ETL workflows, data pipelines, and API integrations supporting enterprise master data platforms
• Managing and implementing data platform changes within Azure Synapse, Databricks, and related cloud data services
• Using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to develop and maintain data integration and transformation logic
• Supporting software test engineering, DevOps, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and implementing enhancements
• Applying knowledge of software development best practices, including technical design specifications, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Collaborating with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to support enterprise data integration and master data initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree
- 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- certifications related to cloud data platforms, data engineering, or integration technologies preferred.

Preferred experience includes:
• Working with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, or similar data lakehouse environments
• Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows
• Experience with data integration, API connectivity, and enterprise data platforms
• Supporting master data management, data governance, or enterprise analytics platforms
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and modern data engineering practices
