OUR OPPORTUNITY 

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Informatica experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions as part of a major enterprise data transformation program. 

In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of data integration, data quality, and governance capabilities using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), ensuring high-quality, reliable, and well-governed data across enterprise platforms. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable data solutions. 

YOU WILL

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica (IDMC / IICS / PowerCenter). 
  • Build and optimize data integration workflows, mappings, and transformations across multiple data sources. 
  • Integrate data from databases, APIs, and enterprise systems ensuring accuracy and consistency. 
  • Implement and support data quality rules, validation checks, and profiling processes using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ). 
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives, including data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management. 
  • Work with Informatica IDMC modules such as: 
    Data Integration 
    Data Quality (IDQ) 
    Data Governance & Catalog 
    Metadata Management 

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across all data pipelines. 
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and pipeline performance. 
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and translate data requirements into scalable solutions. 
  • Support data warehousing and analytics use cases by delivering clean and structured datasets. 
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in ETL development and data engineering. 
  • Document data flows, mappings, and technical specifications. 
  • Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD and deployment processes for data pipelines.


Requirements
  • TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica (IICS / IDMC / PowerCenter). 
  • Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and data validation frameworks. 
  • Solid understanding of data governance concepts, metadata management, and data lineage. 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.). 
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema). 
  • Experience with data integration, transformation, and data quality processes. 
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and data ingestion techniques. 
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
