We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Data Conversion Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration and conversion processes within Workday implementations. As a Workday Data Conversion Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless transition of data from legacy systems to Workday, contributing to the success of our clients' and their transformation projects.
Job Responsibilities

Lead data conversion activities for Workday implementation projects, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

Collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements and legacy system structures.

Develop and execute data conversion plans, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the migration process.

Utilize Workday tools and technologies to map, transform, and validate data for successful integration.

Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and implement appropriate remediation strategies.

Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data consistency between legacy systems and Workday.

Provide expertise and guidance on data conversion best practices and methodologies.

Work closely with functional consultants and technical teams to align data conversion activities with overall project timelines and objectives.

Assist in the development and maintenance of data conversion documentation, including data mapping templates, conversion scripts, and validation reports.

Support end-to-end testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Stay current with Workday updates and enhancements, leveraging new features to optimize data conversion processes.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data conversion and migration, preferably within Workday implementation projects.

Strong knowledge of Workday data structures, objects, and integration tools.

Workday certifications, including Workday Data Conversion certification.

Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.

Experience with ETL tools and technologies, such as Informatica, Talend, or similar.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to travel to client sites 50% of the time

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. Compensation Range for this position: $100,000 - $160,000 + generous bonus package. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
