What You’ll Do:
- Innovate for High-Value Customers: Architect, refine and optimize sophisticated data applications that deliver actionable insights directly to our highest-revenue, high-value customers in Japan.
- Lead with a Customer Focus: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address critical customer-driven requirements, setting new benchmarks for excellence—with the potential to evolve into a Squad Lead role.
- Excel in Delivering Customer Value: Confront advanced challenges in data analytics, audience measurement, and digital media, empowering informed business decisions that elevate the experience of our premium clientele.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Technical Skills
- Extensive production experience in Java and Python, with a proven track record of designing and managing complex systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex systems featuring multiple workflows, robust databases, secure authentication mechanisms, and efficient buffering layers, all integrated seamlessly.
- Opportunity to learn Scala on the job.
- Media & Advertising Industry Relevance: Experience in audience measurement, media, the advertising industry, or DMPs is highly preferred.
- Schema Design & SQL expertise: Proficiency in schema design, data modeling, and SQL. Experience working with document-based databases or search engines such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB is essential.
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS is a significant plus.
- Quality Tools Proficiency: complemented by expertise in quality testing tools like Karate Labs to maintain system reliability.
- Exposure to Data Analytics Applications: Demonstrated ability to build and enhance intricate data applications, preferably within the data analytics space.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A history of successfully delivering critical, customer-driven solutions in high-pressure environments.
- Leadership Potential: A proactive mindset with the ambition and capability to evolve into a leadership role within our dynamic squad.
