Job DescriptionThe Senior Data Analytics Manager will lead advanced analytics and strategic insights that drive business decisions across the Payments portfolio . This role is responsible for translating complex, multi-source data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities and risks that will influence product strategy, customer experience and portfolio growth and profitability. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen, executive communication skills, and the ability to solve ambiguous business problems independently.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic and ad hoc analyses to answer complex business questions and support decision-making.
Partner with product, marketing, finance, and groups outside of Payments to identify opportunities for growth, engagement, and risk mitigation.
Identify and quantify opportunities to expand and deepen partner relationships and customer engagement
Design and execute end-to-end analytical solutions, from data extraction through presentation of findings.
Develop hypotheses, investigate business trends, and uncover key drivers behind portfolio performance and profitability.
Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations and executive-level presentations.
Validate and reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of insights.
Evaluate the impact of business strategies, product changes, and customer initiatives through data-driven analysis.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while serving as a trusted analytics advisor.
Identify proactive analytical opportunities that help drive portfolio growth and improve customer outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar analytics tools
Experience working with large, complex datasets.
Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous business problems with limited direction.
Strong business acumen and ability to connect analytics to business outcomes.
Experience developing executive presentations and communicating findings to senior leaders.
Proven ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
Background in financial services, banking, credit cards, payments, or consumer lending preferred.
Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or regression techniques is a plus.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
