Senior Data Analyst, Developer Experience
We are seeking a high-impact Senior Data Analyst to join our Developer Experience (DevX) team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be a strategic advocate and driver for ensuring our merchants and partners experience a world-class platform integration. You are instrumental in transforming disparate data into intelligent insights, ensuring that integrating with our technology is not just easy, but a genuinely superior experience.
You will live and breathe the data that powers a seamless integration journey. By identifying and structuring new data streams, you will build the analytical layer required to deeply understand our customers and their integrations. You will then partner with our Product team to surface intelligent, proactive recommendations - using statistical analysis to define the most effective configurations for each merchant and quantify the performance gains they drive. Ultimately, you will turn complex data into a product that makes our technology intuitive and powerful for the developers who build on it.
What you’ll do
- Domain expert in product integrations: Develop deep expertise in Adyen’s Integration Lifecycle product space, enabling you to drive data-backed decisions and act as a trusted subject matter expert.
- Technically excellent: Highly skilled in Airflow, ETLs, PySpark, and Looker. You build, maintain, and evolve the analytics layer, working autonomously and in close collaboration with the Amsterdam team.
- Strategic product partner: Work closely with Product and Engineering to provide proactive data guidance, challenge assumptions, and uncover opportunities that improve customer-facing experiences.
- Driver of intelligent customer experiences: Structure and analyze data from disparate sources to power proactive, context-aware insights within customer-facing products.
- Impact-driven analyst: Apply statistical analysis to quantify the impact and ROI of technical configurations and product decisions.
Who you are
A seasoned Senior Data Analyst with 6+ years of experience, ideally in a fast-paced, product-focused setting, comfortable operating with significant autonomy.
- Technically proficient: Highly skilled in SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Looker).
- Experimentation and statistical expert: Proven experience in designing, driving, and rigorously analyzing large-scale experiments and A/B tests, including statistical analysis, that lead to significant, scalable business impact.
- Strategic executor: You excel at breaking down complex problems, prioritizing effectively, leading impactful projects, and aligning your work with strategic goals.
- Effective communicator: An excellent communicator in English who can deal with ambiguity, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and translate complex insights for both technical and non-technical audiences in a global team.
- Curious and scalable mindset: You possess a curious mindset, with a continuous drive to iterate, improve, and find better, scalable solutions.
- Data Engineer lite: You are an experienced user of Airflow for orchestration and PySpark or Pandas for data processing. You have the technical grit to extend our analytical data stack and the architectural "know-how" (Hadoop/Jupyter) to troubleshoot and build autonomously.

What We Do
Adyen (ADYEN:AMS) is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies. By providing end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products in a single global solution, Adyen helps businesses achieve their ambitions faster. Why Work With Us
At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition. We started with payments, at a time when providers offered services based on a patchwork of systems built on outdated infrastructure.
