The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, with expertise in Tableau or Power BI. This role will involve working with large datasets, understanding and interpreting trends and patterns of business importance, and creating insightful reports and dashboards to support various aspects of the semiconductor business.
What You Will Do
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Understand and interpret trends and patterns of business importance.
Perform statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations.
Document existing metrics and drive consistent usage of measures and terminology.
Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
Collaborate with technology organization and business end-users to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
Partner with development and data management roles to identify and capture data required from internal and external sources.
Create and maintain statistical models for ongoing and ad hoc review and analysis of data.
Use data visualization programs, tools, and techniques to generate dashboards, reports, and presentations that aid in data storytelling.
Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
Support ad hoc requests utilizing exploratory data analysis while maintaining focus on data quality and integrity.
What You Will Bring
2-4 years of experience with data extraction, transformation, visualization, and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Tableau Cloud, Tableau Prep, Power BI, R).
Strong business acumen is essential. Solid understanding of data structures, and preparation techniques is preferred.
Advanced Excel skills.
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
Desire to improve processes and not accept the status quo.
