Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is currently looking for a Sr Analyst HR Data Quality – Workday & Learning. The primary location for this position is Bengaluru.

The HR Data Strategy and Governance team is seeking a Senior Analyst to support key initiatives that will help us shape and solidify the foundation we are building across our Johnson & Johnson Human Resources landscape, particularly within Workday & Learning. The Senior Analyst will help us ensure our practice can help us grow against demand by filling immediate gaps but also prototyping work that will inform design and resourcing asks for the HR Data Governance & Data Quality areas.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst, HR Data Management is a critical member of the broader HR Data Strategy & Governance team responsible for generating, integrating, and translating business needs into data requirements and products. This role will be responsible for:

  • Individual will be accountable for providing subject matter expertise for Workday (Acquisition, Demographics, Total Rewards)  and the Learn digital ecosystem

  • Partner/liaise across HR Workday, learn teams as well as with Information Technology and other cross-functional teams by eliciting, documenting, and validating business needs required to establish clear data requirements

  • Design, propose, and enhance the Data Quality validation product suite (IDQ, Error Reporting, Tableau)

  • Conduct regular workshops with functional partners to surface and align on data standards.

  • Collaborate with internal team members (I.e, Data Strategy & Governance, Technology, Project Management) to plan and prioritize operationalization of data standards.

  • Develop data quality metrics to track and report progress over time to leaders and identify areas for improvement.

  • Work with customers to identify the root cause of data quality issues. This may involve analysing business processes and data sources.

  • Build vital documentation required to conduct meetings (UAT, requirement gathering etc) with partners.

  • Design, develop, and lead all aspects of standard templates, formats, and practices informed by internal and external best practices to streamline how we document, model, and capture requirements.

  • Capture and detail prioritized use cases and develop ways of working across an array of partners to inform the design of Data-as-a-Product capabilities that will allow us to usher in simplified and trusted experiences for our workforce.

  • Expand the team’s Influence across the organization through advocacy of best practices in Data Governance and Data Management.

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 4 (four) years of business/professional experience.

  • Analytic skill, the ability to derive insights and storytelling with data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, CoPilot, SQL etc.).

  • Experience working and collaborating in a multi-functional environment.

  • Strong communication, consulting, and interpersonal skills including the demonstrated ability to adapt to different ways of working and different levels of leadership.

  • The ability to quickly learn the business and enterprise processes involved.

  • Experience in product ownership or working within a product centric environment.

  • Experience eliciting business requirements that enable capture of data requirements and developing of use cases.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Global Rule Validation experience in workday, learn digital ecosystem

  • Experience in Workday rule-based configurations

  • Experience in building Workday reporting

Preferred:

  • Experience in Workday integrations (PECI/PICOF)

  • Process Mapping / Data Mapping Experience

  • Project Management Skills

  • No challenges with ambiguity

  • Enjoys bringing structure to uncertainty.

  • Data Visualization, Data Quality, and Data Management experience

  • General understanding of J&J matrixed decision making

  • Prior experience working in Human Resources

  • Agile/Scrum Experience

Other:

  • Travel as per Business need
