Job Description
- Analyse complex Finance, commercial and operational datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
- Partner with Finance, FP&A, Operations and executive stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into analytical outputs.
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data experiences with strong usability and consistent metric definitions.
- Support strategic Finance BI initiatives including ARR by Product, Personnel Planning, Finance Dashboard, planning cycles and executive reporting packs.
- Build business requirements, data definitions, KPI documentation and user stories for engineering and analytics delivery.
- Validate data accuracy, investigate variances and work with engineers or business owners to resolve data quality issues.
- Prepare clear insight summaries, commentary and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of self-service analytics by supporting users, improving report usability and promoting consistent data interpretation.
- Use AI-enabled analytics and Copilot-style workflows where appropriate to accelerate analysis, documentation and insight generation.
- Contribute to Finance BI standards for documentation, dashboard design, governance and reporting excellence.
- Strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence, Finance analytics or performance reporting.
- Advanced Power BI skills, including report design, dashboard development and data model understanding.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to interrogate, join and validate complex datasets.
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate technical topics in simple business language.
- Strong stakeholder management, documentation and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of KPI design, data quality, variance analysis and reporting governance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities.
PREFERRED SKILLS
