Job Type: Full-time W2
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to tackle one of our most critical challenges: analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing a complex, dynamic two-sided healthcare marketplace. In this domain, demand and supply must be intelligently balanced across multiple dimensions—including heterogeneous booking lead times, cancellation and rescheduling dynamics, geographic distributions, insurance networks, provider credentials, and capacity utilization.
While this domain leverages sophisticated optimization systems, this role focuses heavily on analytics, business intelligence, market diagnostics, and strategic decision support. You will serve as the core analytical engine for our marketplace—translating raw operational data into actionable insights, building robust BI/reporting infrastructure, defining marketplace health metrics, and working directly with business and product leadership to guide growth and efficiency.
What You'll DoAnalytics, Intelligence & Experimentation- Marketplace Health & Diagnostics: Define, measure, and track core marketplace health metrics (e.g., supply/demand imbalances, cancellation/rescheduling rates, and capacity utilization).
- Root-Cause Analysis: Perform deep-dive analyses to uncover marketplace inefficiencies, bottleneck drivers, network gaps, and drop-off points across patient and clinician journeys.
- Decision-Support Modeling: Build cohort analyses and diagnostic frameworks to help business teams understand short-term marketplace dynamics and long-term marketplace economics.
- Executive Advisory: Partner directly with Demand, Supply, Operations, and Product leadership to translate marketplace insights into concrete strategy.
- Capacity Planning & Expansion: Provide analytical decision support for hiring, provider onboarding, market expansion, and geo-targeted growth investments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to ensure underlying data pipelines, metrics definitions, and production data models meet reporting and analytics needs. Provide analytical feedback loop with the Marketplace Data Science team to influence prioritization over the most impactful data science projects.
- Advanced SQL Expertise: Exceptional SQL skills with experience writing complex, performant queries, window functions, CTEs, and designing scalable analytics tables/data models.
- Business Intelligence & Visualization: Deep experience with BI and data visualization tools creating intuitive executive dashboards and self-service reporting tools.
- Python for Analytics: Proficiency in Python for statistical analysis, data manipulation, and rapid exploratory data analysis.
- Data Modeling: Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data transformation tools (e.g., dbt).
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, or Business Intelligence in high-growth technology environments.
- Business Acumen: Ability to connect technical metric movements to high-level business revenue, cost, and operational drivers.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding ability to summarize complex data into clear stories and recommendations for non-technical executives and stakeholders.
- Proactive Ownership: Self-starter who identifies unstructured problems, asks the right questions, and builds solutions from scratch with minimal direction.
- Direct experience analyzing two-sided marketplaces, or dynamic supply/demand matching platforms.
- Domain experience in healthcare operations, insurance networks, or telehealth systems.
- Familiarity with queueing dynamics, forecasting models, or supply chain analytics.
