The Senior Data Analyst partners closely with business leaders, platform owners, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and technology teams to establish trusted metrics, support enterprise data initiatives, and enable scalable analytics capabilities across the organization.
While the role will initially provide significant support for Marketing Analytics, Customer Data Platform (CDP) initiatives, customer insight development, and related data platform efforts, it is designed to operate as a flexible Enterprise Analytics resource that can address analytical needs across a broad portfolio of business priorities.
Operating within the Enterprise Data Foundation (EDF), the Senior Data Analyst helps develop consistent business definitions, governed metrics, analytical standards, and scalable reporting practices that improve organizational decision making and business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical capabilities with a consultative mindset, exercises substantial independent judgment, and effectively translates business objectives into measurable outcomes and actionable recommendations.

- Leads ambiguous, cross-functional analytical engagements from problem framing through recommendation, aligning stakeholders on scope, decision criteria, tradeoffs, and measurable outcomes.
- Influences without authority by building trusted partnerships, synthesizing competing perspectives, and guiding business and technical stakeholders toward practical, data-informed decisions.
- Converts complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations and executive-ready narratives.
- Supports organizational advancement from reactive reporting to consultative, decision-focused analytics.

- Identifies opportunities to improve data literacy, measurement practices, and decision effectiveness across Marketing.
Marketing Platform and CDP Enablement
- Works closely with the Marketing Platform Manager to support implementation, adoption, governance, and measurement of marketing technology solutions, including the Customer Data Platform (CDP), Salesforce, CRM Analytics, Tableau, and related technologies.
- Defines, validates, and documents audience logic, business rules, segmentation requirements, activation criteria, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Supports marketing platform use cases by translating business requirements into analytical specifications and measurement frameworks.
- Assists in evaluating platform effectiveness through adoption metrics, data-quality indicators, audience performance, and business outcomes.
- Serves as a bridge among Marketing, Analytics, Data Engineering, and Technology teams.

- Promotes trusted reporting through strong data governance, quality, documentation, transparency, and consistency.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of common metric definitions, business glossaries, data lineage documentation, ownership models, and enterprise standards.
- Helps define and validate shared definitions of customers, leads, accounts, campaigns, audiences, and other enterprise marketing concepts.
- Identifies data-quality concerns and partners with technical teams to prioritize remediation efforts.
- Supports enterprise governance initiatives related to EDF, data readiness, and analytical standards.
Analytics Engineering and Data Management
- Develops and maintains advanced SQL queries, analytical datasets, and curated reporting assets.
- Collaborates with Data Engineering teams on semantic layers, curated datasets, data models, and analytical requirements.
