The Pricing & Commercial Performance team exists to support all commercial areas of the business including CRM, customer acquisition, brand marketing and pricing. We are here to help these teams make the best of use of available data to realise growth opportunities and leverage efficiencies to help MOO thrive.


You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on revenue, for example through maximising customer lifetime value and increasing frequency of return. This is the perfect time to join for an experienced analyst who enjoys bringing new ideas to the table as we’re introducing best in class software for customer engagement and will be reviewing all aspects of how we target, analyse and report on our customer base.


The ideal applicant is someone who thrives on solving business problems with analytical solutions. You should have a curiosity about customers and business processes, trying new approaches to analysing data, as well as substantial experience navigating relational databases, as well as modelling and visualising data. The role will suit someone who enjoys working directly with stakeholders and presenting analysis, as well as challenging the status quo and established ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CRM team to develop efficient processes for campaign planning & analysis
  • Analyse and optimise MOO customer journeys/lifetimes using a variety of platforms such as Google Analytics, Braze, Snowflake & Tableau
  • Design & develop dashboards from scratch that enable self serve analysis
  • Model data using SQL and data blending tools
  • Measure impact/uplift using control groups and A/B tests
  • Produce and present clear visualisations and slides for general business consumption and offer recommended actions
  • Lead projects and initiatives, creating clear plans and strategies
  • Coach colleagues inside and outside of team to enhance collective knowledge and skills

About You

  • Experience taking business objectives and designing analytical solutions
  • Experience managing stakeholder requests and expectations, knowing when to challenge or offer alternative solutions
  • Can demonstrate experience of communicating effectively with both technical and business teams, adjusting terminology appropriately
  • Strong SQL and data modelling skills, can easily navigate a data warehouse to discover and make use of available assets. Can follow technical documentation.
  • Experienced in BI and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI. Able to produce accessible and clear dashboards
  • Experienced in using a scripting language such as Python or R to analyse data
  • Able to plan and prioritise work collaboratively and independently when necessary

Nice to Haves

  • Direct experience working with a CRM or Marketing team designing campaigns and conducting tests
  • Hands on experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Exposure to customer metrics and assessment such as lifetime value and churn
  • Exposure to ETL process, tools and documentation, e.g.dbt
  • Exposure to data blending tools such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Knime
