About CookUnity:

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

The Role

CookUnity is looking for a Senior Data Analyst, B2B to own and scale analytics across our growing B2B business. Our B2B organization serves customers through multiple business models—including Corporate, Smart Fridge, and Healthcare—each with distinct go-to-market motions, customer journeys, and economics.

You will build the analytics foundation that helps us understand how these businesses are performing, where our biggest growth opportunities are, and how we can scale them efficiently. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Partnerships, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Finance, and B2B leadership to connect the dots from pipeline generation and conversion through customer performance, retention, revenue, and profitability.

This role is the connective tissue between the B2B business and CookUnity’s core Data team. Today, B2B analytics are spread across multiple tools—Salesforce, Tableau, Hex, and standalone dashboards—with no single owner consolidating them into a coherent, executive-ready view. You will be that owner. You’ll translate what B2B leadership needs to see into what the Data Engineering team needs to build, and ensure that every metric the business runs on is accurate, consistent, and available without manual effort.

This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to ambiguous business problems, building reliable metrics and reporting from the ground up, and translating data into recommendations that directly influence commercial decisions.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the analytics strategy for CookUnity’s B2B business, developing the reporting infrastructure, executive-ready dashboards, and analytical frameworks needed to understand and accelerate growth across Corporate, Smart Fridge, Healthcare, and emerging B2B opportunities (e.g., Airbnb, partnerships).
  • Build an authoritative, single-source-of-truth view of B2B business health—clean data, executive-level visibility, one place leadership goes for the numbers. Partner with B2B leadership to translate business objectives into measurable KPIs and data models that connect the full commercial funnel—from lead generation and pipeline through conversion, activation, revenue, retention, and expansion.
  • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to analyze pipeline health, conversion rates, sales velocity, win/loss patterns, deal velocity by stage, and other drivers of commercial productivity. Identify opportunities to improve how we acquire, prioritize, and grow B2B customers. Build the attribution layer that connects marketing spend to SQLs, pipeline created, and ARR won—by channel and by vertical.
  • Partner with Finance and B2B leadership on forecasting and planning, translating pipeline and customer trends into forward-looking views of revenue and business performance, and helping explain gaps between plan and actuals. Own the data inputs for the Board-ready standard metric pack—including ARR bridge (opening → new → expansion → contraction → churn → closing), profitability trend, retention cohorts, stage-weighted pipeline, and efficiency metrics—per pod and consolidated.
  • Develop a deep understanding of B2B business economics, including revenue, retention, expansion, order behavior, margins, and unit economics. Surface the segments, channels, ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles), and customer profiles that create the greatest long-term value. Build LTV and CAC analysis at the B2B level to start, with increasing granularity by pod and ICP over time.
  • Build the analytical frameworks needed to compare performance across B2B pods and business models, recognizing that success may look different across Corporate, Smart Fridge, and Healthcare while creating a common language and standard scorecard for leadership. Define what green/yellow/red looks like for each pod’s key metrics.
  • Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting that give commercial teams and leadership timely visibility into pipeline, revenue, customer health, and key business drivers—reducing manual reporting and increasing confidence in the numbers. Consolidate today’s scattered reporting (Salesforce, Tableau, Hex, standalone tools) into a unified, reliable analytics layer.
  • Go beyond reporting to diagnose what is driving performance. Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate them into clear recommendations for Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, and B2B leadership. Own analyses like: retention by cohort with largest-account exclusion, pipeline movement waterfalls (added/advanced/slipped/lost), Healthcare funnel conversion (applications submitted → approved → contracting), and ICP-level performance tracking.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between the B2B business and CookUnity’s core Data and Analytics Engineering teams. Translate B2B business requirements into data modeling and infrastructure needs. Partner with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering to improve B2B data foundations—ensuring critical commercial and operational data (Salesforce ingestion, ad platform integrations, pricing logic, coupon attribution) is modeled consistently, accurately, and at the right level of granularity. Drive the B2B data alignment roadmap and ensure the Data team’s build priorities reflect the business’s most pressing analytical needs.
  • Turn complex analyses into clear, compelling business stories. Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders—including Board-level presentations—in a way that makes the “so what” obvious and helps teams make faster, better decisions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, ideally supporting B2B, enterprise sales, revenue operations, commercial strategy, or a similar go-to-market organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently explore, transform, validate, and analyze large and sometimes imperfect datasets.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and commercial metrics, such as pipeline, funnel conversion, sales velocity, win rates, revenue, retention, expansion, account performance, and unit economics.
  • Experience building dashboards, recurring business reporting, and executive-ready metric packs that become reliable sources of truth for commercial teams and leadership.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to take an ambiguous business question, structure it, identify the right data, and turn the analysis into a recommendation.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, or other commercial stakeholders, with an understanding of how analytics can influence both strategic and day-to-day decisions.
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into concise insights for both technical and non-technical audiences, including Board-level presentations.
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken, given our U.S. presence and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment, balancing recurring reporting needs with deeper strategic analyses and proactively identifying where analytics can create value.
Preferred
  • Experience working with CRM and sales data, particularly Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Experience with revenue forecasting, sales capacity/productivity analysis, customer segmentation, or account-level economics.
  • Experience analyzing businesses with multiple B2B go-to-market motions or customer segments (e.g., enterprise sales, self-serve/kiosk, marketplace, healthcare payer relationships).
  • Familiarity with ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts; experience with tools such as dbt and Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup, marketplace, food-tech, or operationally complex business.
  • Familiarity with connecting commercial data to financial and operational outcomes, rather than analyzing the sales funnel in isolation.
  • Experience consolidating analytics across multiple disconnected tools and data sources into a unified reporting layer.
  • Exposure to healthcare or regulated-industry sales cycles (RFPs, credentialing, payer contracting) is a plus.
