The Senior Data Analyst, AML Compliance supports the execution and continuous enhancement of Anti -Money Laundering (AML), Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) and Proliferation Financing (PF) compliance programs through advanced data analytics, compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and risk-based insights. Leveraging strong analytical and technical capabilities, including SQL, Snowflake, advanced Excel, and reporting tools, the role analyses complex transactional and compliance data to identify emerging risks, support regulatory obligations, strengthen financial crime controls, and drive informed decision-making.
The position is responsible for conducting compliance monitoring, transaction analysis, investigations, compliance reviews, and reporting activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Essential Job Functions
35% - Analyze large data sets using Snowflake, SQL, Excel, and reporting tools to support compliance reviews, risk assessments, management reporting, regulatory submissions, and key risk indicators.
25% - Conduct AML/CTF compliance monitoring, transaction analysis, investigations, and control testing to identify unusual activity, compliance gaps, emerging financial crime risks, and areas requiring remediation.
20% -Support the implementation and enhancement of AML, CTF, PF, sanctions, and financial crime compliance programs, policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
10% - Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Technology, Product, Operations, and external stakeholders on regulatory change initiatives, audits, examinations, remediation activities, and process improvements.
10% - Prepare executive reporting, compliance dashboards, presentations, training materials, and recommendations to communicate risks, trends, findings, and business impacts to stakeholders and management.
