The Senior Data & AI Tech Product Lead at Simmons is a strategic and technical product leader responsible for shaping, managing, and advancing the organization's Data and AI product portfolio. This role serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring Data and AI investments are aligned with enterprise objectives and deliver measurable business value. The Senior Data & AI Product Lead develops a deep understanding of business priorities, data assets, analytics capabilities, and emerging AI opportunities across the organization. This individual will establish and manage product intake and prioritization processes, define and maintain product roadmaps, and partner closely with Data & AI Engineering to deliver solutions that support strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision making.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the enterprise Data & AI Product Management framework, including product governance, success measurement, Data-as-a-Product standards, AI lifecycle management, Responsible AI practices, and value realization processes across the Data & AI portfolio.

  • Establish and manage the Data & AI product intake and demand management process, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate requests, prioritize initiatives, and align investments with strategic objectives, resource capacity, and business value.

  • Define and maintain the Data & AI product strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities, ensuring product delivery aligns with enterprise objectives and delivers measurable business outcomes.

  • Champion Data-as-a-Product principles by establishing and managing a portfolio of enterprise data products with clear ownership, defined consumers, quality standards, lifecycle governance, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Own the AI product portfolio lifecycle, including opportunity identification, business case development, experimentation, value measurement, adoption, and retirement.

  • Develop business cases, success metrics, KPIs, adoption measures, and value realization frameworks to assess product performance and business impact.

  • Partner with Data & AI Engineering and business stakeholders to translate business needs into prioritized product backlogs, requirements, features, and delivery plans.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement across business units, driving alignment, transparency, and adoption while facilitating collaboration among technology, analytics, operations, and business teams.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, competitive offerings, and AI innovations to identify opportunities for future investment, optimization, and differentiation.

  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and Governance teams to ensure Data & AI products and solutions adhere to applicable policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop executive communications, presentations, training materials, and reporting that support product adoption, strategic decision-making, and organizational awareness.

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience using Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, document requirements, track delivery progress, and facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams.

  • Strong understanding of product management practices, methodologies, and lifecycle management.

  • Ability to develop and communicate strategic product roadmaps and investment plans.

  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and translate them into actionable product requirements.

  • Strong financial acumen, including development of business cases, ROI analysis, and value measurement.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across business and technology teams.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with audiences ranging from working teams to executive leadership.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to effectively present complex technical concepts in business-friendly language.

  • Effective negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Education and Experience

  • BS/BA degree and

  •  5+ years relevant experience

Computer Skills 

  • MS Office programs

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

  • Certified Treasury Professional preferred for treasury management positions
