Summary:
The Senior D365 Finance Developer will help the company build productivity applications for key business projects. He / She will establish and apply development best practices, and design principles to create easy- to-use and maintainable business applications. They will work closely and collaboratively with the Business Solutions team, Directors, Managers, and various business stakeholders, to support strategic initiatives. This position will collaborate with various business departments to identify and execute a variety of projects to improves processes and create efficiencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with a product team to design, develop, test, and maintain business applications built on Microsoft technologies. Especially D365 Finance, C# .Net, T-SQL, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, and PowerBI.
- Work with developers, engineers, and architects to establish standards
- Lead design and code reviews
- Mentor junior developers
- Participate in software deployments
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and within scope
- Able to focus on multiple projects concurrently
- Adhere to change management policies
- Actively participate in Agile meetings/ceremonies (e.g. daily standup, sprint review, sprint retrospective, sprint planning, backlog refinement, PI planning, etc.)
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
Core Competency Requirements
- Adept at crafting solutions in D365 Finance, C# .Net, REST APIs, JavaScript, PowerApp, PowerAutomate, and Azure Functions
- Demonstrate ability to lead and mentor in the ways of software development best practices
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable solution architecture for business needs
- Experience in using Agile development methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Scrum)
- Adept at D365 architecture, administration, solution export/import, and support/maintenance
- Creating data models in the Microsoft Common Data Service
Competency Nice To Haves
- Experience developing solutions that span multiple Office365 services
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (boards, repos, pipelines), and Azure Services Development
Education, Training and Experience:
- College or university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance modules, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
- Microsoft certifications are a plus. For example, D365 Fundamentals (ERP/CRM), D365 Sales or Customer Service Functional Consultant, D365 Finance Functional Consultant, D365 F&O Apps Developer, D365 F&O Apps Solution Architect; Power Platform Fundamentals, Functional Consultant, Developer Associate, and Solution Architect; Azure Developer Associate, and Solutions Architect
- Strong communication skills including the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to understand user needs
- Solid understanding of how to create scalable and maintainable applications
- Proven track record of creating easy-to-use and functional application with the users’ best interests in mind
Base Pay Range: $125,000-$135,000
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
