SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support an opportunity in Washington D.C.
Position Overview Section
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer provides overarching technical direction for all task areas involving cybersecurity, cloud engineering, agile DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Zero Trust Architecture initiatives.
Essential Job Functions
This position applies deep knowledge of cybersecurity architectures, standards, and emerging technologies to develop technical plans and oversee complex engineering execution.
QualificationsMinimum Position Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in cybersecurity engineering for projects of similar size and scope
Certifications:
- Required: Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification, CISSP, and a recognized Scrum practices certification (PSM, CSM, PSPO)
- Desired: Additional cloud computing platform certifications such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365
