At BlackLine, our success is built on our customers' success. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Customer Success Manager to join us as a strategic partner to our most valued clients.
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor, empowering businesses to achieve their ambitious goals by unlocking the full power of their BlackLine investment. Drawing on your deep expertise - whether from a background in accounting or in SaaS customer success - you will guide clients through their finance transformation journey, providing the strategic coaching and best practices they need to thrive. As a senior member of our team, you will also play a key role in mentoring colleagues and representing BlackLine at industry events, helping to elevate our entire organisation.
You'll Get To:
  • Forge and nurture lasting partnerships with our most strategic customers, serving as their trusted advisor and internal advocate to ensure their long-term success and growth;
  • Empower customers to become experts by providing tailored guidance, coaching, and best practices that align BlackLine's solutions with their core business objectives and deliver measurable results;
  • Partner with the Account Management team by identifying opportunities for customers to gain more value, contributing directly to license expansion and deeper integration of our solutions;
  • Act as a crucial bridge between our customers and internal teams, using data and direct feedback to help shape the future of our products and customer journey;
  • Represent BlackLine at industry events and client forums while mentoring fellow Customer Success Managers, sharing your expertise to elevate the entire team.

What You'll Bring:
We are excited to welcome candidates from diverse professional backgrounds and believe that a variety of experiences can lead to success in this role. We are particularly interested in two key profiles: experienced accounting/audit professionals looking to move into a customer-facing role, or seasoned Customer Success Managers with a background in the Fintech space.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • A genuine passion for building relationships and a deep-seated curiosity to understand and solve customer challenges;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and connect with stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to executive leaders;
  • A data-driven and process-oriented mindset, with the ability to analyze information, identify trends, and present insights in a clear and compelling way;
  • A collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to problem-solving, always seeking opportunities to improve the customer experience and work effectively with internal teams.

We're Even More Excited If You Have:
  • Experience with BlackLine solutions;
  • A professional accounting certification (such as CA / CPA / CIA);
  • Familiarity with CRM software (like Salesforce or Gainsight);
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Business, Economics).
