Senior CRM Manager New Ventures

This role is part of the European Market team. This is a group of cross-functional growth hackers with the mission of completely transforming SumUp’s go-to-market from the current approach of leading with our successful card acceptance product to an integrated ecosystem of products that powers all aspects of our merchants’ businesses.

The New Ventures (Loonshot) mission team is focused on accelerating the growth of its product portfolio (Online Store, Online Payments, Invoicing, Lending, and Consumer solution). Each of these products has unique differences in terms of product and merchant lifecycles, data and campaign structures, and evolving processes. As a result, there is a continuous need to run growth hacking campaigns and pilots via the CRM channels. 

As the Senior CRM Manager sitting within the CRM & Lifecycle team, you’ll help build and optimise customer journeys and campaigns for the New Ventures (loonshot) missions across our markets and its products. You’ll play a key role in addressing the needs of our merchants and ensuring a seamless SumUp experience throughout the lifecycle.

What you’ll do 

  • Oversee and understand the CRM and lifecycle communication needs from various New Ventures (loonshot) products
  • Plan, design and run New Ventures (loonshot) product CRM journeys and campaigns
  • Run A/B tests to understand which communications, offers, channels are making a better impact and transform them into automation where applicable.
  • Drive continuous optimisation of the campaigns and journeys.
  • Create reports, analyse data, and share learnings.
  • Identify new engagement and growth opportunities inspired by external best practices from early stage startups.
  • Build processes that can help to accelerate the growth of New Ventures (loonshot) products via CRM initiatives.

You’ll be great for this role if

  • 5-8 years of experience in CRM, multi-channel lifecycle, experimentations.
  • End to end CRM experience in a growth scale startup.
  • A strong understanding of channels and communication approaches (email, in-app, push, SMS).
  • Experience in HTML and CSS, SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights and initiatives.
  • Experience in monitoring and improving multi-channel CRM programs.
