- Own backlog prioritization and ensure delivery of high-impact features aligned with business goals.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of credit initiatives, including pricing eligibility, underwriting guideline automation, and new program rollout.
- Work closely with Engineering to break down credit requirements into deliverables and acceptance criteria.
- Drive Agile ceremonies, ensure sprint velocity, and remove blockers to delivery.
- Institutionalize credit delivery as a formal product vertical, building repeatable processes and metrics for delivery performance.
- Develop business cases and execution plans for new credit offerings and guideline enhancements.
- Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Risk to bring new programs to market with speed and compliance.
- Serve as the central voice connecting Credit Strategy, Capital Markets, Underwriting, Legal, Compliance, and Ops.
- Proactively align roadmap priorities with business needs and market opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional forums to track progress and drive alignment.
What you’ll need:
- 7–10+ years of experience in mortgage product management, credit product ownership, or a similar strategic role within lending
- Deep understanding of residential mortgage programs, including Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, and Portfolio
- Proven track record of launching and managing lending products and credit programs end-to-end
- Experience working with LOS (e.g., Encompass), pricing engines, DU/LP, and credit/income verification tools
- Strong familiarity with investor guidelines, credit overlays, capital markets, and credit policy execution
- Ability to operate in Agile frameworks and lead cross-functional delivery using tools like Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Comfortable influencing at the VP/SVP level and managing matrixed teams

What We Do
SoFi wasn’t built to be a bank. Or a technology company. We were built for one mission: help people achieve financial independence so they can realize their ambitions. Redefining an entire industry isn’t easy work—and it’s not for the faint of heart. It takes a certain kind of team. People with diverse perspectives and expertise, united by a common sense of purpose. People willing to challenge assumptions but always do the right thing. People proving that innovation and responsibility don’t have to compete, but can come together to create something truly unconventional in the world. For the last eight years, we’ve been charting this new path forward. We call it The SoFi Way. At SoFi, we don’t just talk about culture: we live it. The SoFi Way is how we show up every day, how we make decisions, and how we build for our members, clients, and each other.
