We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Credit Analyst to join our Credit Department at Telia Finance.

This is a key role focused on corporate and counterparty credit risk. You will perform credit assessments, financial analysis, and credit decision-making for corporate customers, while contributing to the continued development of our credit function. The role offers a unique combination of analytical depth, responsibility, and the opportunity to influence both processes and ways of working.

Telia Finance is a credit market company within Telia Company, providing financial services to B2B customers across the Nordic region. As part of our Credit Department, you will work closely with colleagues across the organization and contribute to enabling sustainable business growth through sound credit risk management.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct credit assessments and counterparty reviews of corporate customers.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis and evaluate credit risk.
  • Make credit decisions within delegated authority.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on credit-related matters and provide clear and well-founded recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams, product owners, risk functions, and operational teams.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of credit processes, governance, and risk management practices.
  • Support the organization with expertise in corporate credit risk and risk assessment.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least five years of experience in credit analysis, credit decision-making or counterparty assessment within a bank, finance company or other regulated financial institution.
  • Solid experience assessing and analyzing corporate customers.
  • Experience making independent credit decisions within a delegated mandate.
  • Strong self-leadership and the ability to take ownership of priorities, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, corporate credit risk, and financial statements.
  • Commercial awareness combined with sound risk judgement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex matters in a clear and business-oriented manner.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain a structured approach in a high-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to take initiative and drive improvement.

Meritorious Experience

  • Developing, streamlining or automating credit processes and related systems.
  • Interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements within credit risk and financial services.
  • IFRS 9-related matters.
