Position Summary
We have an opportunity for a Senior Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will handle a variety of legal matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on compliance, and supporting business objectives. You will work closely with senior management and provide guidance on regulatory and contractual issues. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.

x4 days a week onsite expectation
The Role
Draft, review, analyze, structure, and negotiate manufacturing, packaging, development, purchase, supply, license, and service agreements
Advise and provide training to business unit personnel on compliance policies, customer and vendor relations, contract matters, and regulatory issues
Assist in merger and acquisition activity
Help resolve customer disputes and claims, support litigation, and direct outside counsel in dispute and litigation matters
Provide general advice to senior management and other senior company personnel on a day-to-day basis
Offer guidance to achieve business objectives in compliance with laws and regulations while avoiding unacceptable risks
Perform other duties as assigned
The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Minimum of three years of transactional or commercial law experience with a combination of large law firms and/or in-house pharmaceutical experience
Ability to practice as an in-house lawyer in New Jersey
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0–15 pounds
Preferred Skills & Background
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal issues into essential elements for clients across the organization with different goals and responsibilities
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position in NJ is $136,000 – $210,000 plus bonus. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
