Summary
ADVICS North America is seeking an innovative, results-oriented Corporate Senior Production Control Specialist to enhance production control processes and support warehouse operations across the organization. Using Microsoft Power Platform applications, business intelligence tools, and emerging digital technologies, this role will transform data into actionable insights that improve planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
The ideal candidate will proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, develop and implement digital solutions, and lead initiatives that automate manual activities, integrate data from multiple sources, and standardize best practices across the organization. By combining strong production control expertise with a continuous improvement mindset, this individual will drive sustainable operational enhancements, enable data-driven decision-making, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration in support of ADVICS North America's strategic objectives.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
Warehouse & Supply Chain Support
• Lead warehouse forecast planning and demand analysis
• Manage inventory ordering, replenishment, and optimization
• Track transit and container movement to ensure timely delivery
• Oversee warehouse inventory accuracy and performance
• Support warehouse cost analysis and cost reduction strategies
Production Control & Operations
• Manage mass production build out planning and execution
• Coordinate customer surveys and reporting
• Oversee release and shipping management systems
• Create and maintain master data
• Conduct data analysis and develop KPI reporting
• Manage engineering change processes
• Confirm supply chain capacity and identify constraints
• Lead and support cross functional cost reduction initiatives
Continuous Improvement
• Drive data driven decision making through trend analysis
• Identify root causes and implement effective countermeasures
• Support on-time delivery improvement for mass production
• Promote and participate in ongoing Kaizen and problem solving activities
• Develop and implement digital solutions, and lead initiatives that automate manual activities, integrate data from multiple sources, and standardize best practices across the organization.

• Work involves routine and repetitive tasks that require selecting and applying established policies and procedures.
• Additional working hours may be required to meet business deadlines; some travel is required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Control or Supply Chain Management
• MRP/ERP system experience required
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or Business, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory control, demand/order analysis, risk management, and logistics operations
• Working knowledge of Oracle Applications preferred
• Automotive industry experience preferred, especially within a Japanese American organization
• Preferred Digital & Analytical Skills, Microsoft Power Platform- Power BI, Power Apps
• Preferred Data Analytics Capabilities- Dashboard development, KPI Design, Trend Analysis, Data Visualization
• Preferred Advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, macros, data analysis tools)
• Preferred APICS/CSCP Certification
