Senior Corporate Development Manager

Join the JM Family Corporate Development team and play a key role in driving growth and enhancing financial performance across JM Family Enterprises. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic, high-impact team with direct exposure to senior leaders, including the CEO, CFO, Chairman, and Business Unit leaders. Since 2019, the team has closed 15 transactions, including transformative acquisitions, add-ons, minority investments, and a divestiture. Focused on financial services and business services, this team is shaping JM Family’s future across diverse industries. 

As a Senior Manager, your primary focus will be on M&A activities, including identifying opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting deal execution and closing. You will collaborate closely with teams across JM Family and work on high-stakes, impactful transactions that drive the company’s growth. 

Responsibilities: 

• Business Development: Conduct market research, build deal pipelines, and establish relationships with executives and investment bankers. 

• Deal Execution: Create valuation models, coordinate due diligence, and assist in negotiations and legal documentation. 

• Deal Closing & Integration: Work with corporate functions to ensure smooth post-acquisition transitions. 

• Department Support: Engage with internal stakeholders, adhere to corporate guidelines, and drive continuous improvement. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree required 

• 7+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity 

• Proven M&A experience, including familiarity with transaction legal documentation 

• Familiarity with all aspects of the M&A deal process, including business development, due diligence, and transaction negotiation (experience with integration appreciated but is not required) 

• Fluency with leveraged buyout models, operating models, and other cash-flow based valuation models 

• Strong financial and accounting skills with the ability to structure complex models. 

• A team player with excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. 

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Deerfield Beach, FL (hybrid work model) 

• Ability to travel up to 35%
