Are you a trusted legal advisor who thrives on guiding high-growth companies through complex GTM motions? Do you enjoy translating legal nuance into business strategy and building scalable processes that accelerate revenue? Are you excited to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and finance teams to create operational excellence at a modern SaaS company? If so, we invite you to be a part of our innovative team.
As a Senior Corporate Counsel at Ridgeline, you will be the primary legal partner enabling our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Reporting to the VP of Legal, you'll bring a tech-forward and solution-oriented mindset to support enterprise sales, reduce friction, and scale our contract operations. You will develop and refine commercial legal processes, guide deal negotiations, and shape a trusted legal function embedded in the business. Working closely with multiple functions, you will help design and drive Ridgeline’s revenue enablement engine. This is a role where your impact will be seen in both topline growth and operational maturity.
At Ridgeline, how we work matters as much as what we build. Ridgeliners act like owners, choose growth over comfort, and communicate with transparency. We assume positive intent, bias toward action, and bring solutions—not just problems. We celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and thrive in a resilient, collaborative, high-performing culture. If this excites you, we’d love to meet you.
The impact you have:
Design scalable and strategic legal processes and playbooks that enable Ridgeline’s GTM execution
Facilitate strong collaboration between sales and legal through training, documentation, and trusted partnership
Guide complex SaaS contract negotiations with enterprise clients to close deals efficiently and thoughtfully
Define intake systems, process architecture, and escalation frameworks that optimize for speed, compliance, and clarity
Enhance and maintain contract lifecycle management tools, aligning them with the unique needs of a vertical SaaS business
Partner with internal IT teams and external vendors to implement and refine legal technology solutions
Provide cross-functional legal support, including collaboration with outside counsel when needed

What we look for:
7+ years of in-house commercial legal experience, particularly in SaaS and enterprise tech contracts
Proven track record enabling sales teams on high-value, complex transactions
Experience advising on data classification, privacy, and compliance topics like GDPR and CCPA
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to translate legal guidance into practical business recommendations
Tech-forward mindset and comfort using legal tech tools (e.g., Evisort, Salesforce, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word)
JD required and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
A generalist mindset and excitement to grow alongside a fast-moving company
You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Bonus:
Experience implementing or managing CLM systems or working closely with RevOps teams
Background in fintech or vertical SaaS environments
Exposure to AI tools in legal workflows such as ChatGPT or other contract review technologies
